Warranty Policy (BrassNova)

Effective date: January 2026
At BrassNova, we stand behind the quality of our handcrafted brass fixtures. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal residential use, subject to the terms below.

1) What’s Covered

This limited warranty applies to BrassNova products purchased directly from our website (or an authorized seller) and used under normal conditions.

We cover manufacturing defects such as:

 - Leaks caused by defective casting or internal manufacturing fault

 - Faulty valves/cartridges due to manufacturing defect

 - Structural issues caused by defective workmanship

If a covered issue is confirmed, BrassNova will, at our option:

 - Provide replacement parts, or

 - Repair the item, or

 - Replace the product (or equivalent), depending on availability.

2) Warranty Period

  - Mechanical parts (cartridges/valves/diverters/thermostatic components): 2 years

  - Brass body/structure (fixture body, spout, handles, shower hardware): 5 years

  - Finish / patina / unlacquered living finish: Not covered (see Section 6)

The warranty period begins on the delivery date shown by tracking.

3) What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

 - Normal wear and tear

 - Damage from incorrect installation, modification, or misuse

 - Damage caused by improper water pressure, water hammer, or plumbing system issues

 - Damage caused by hard water, limescale, corrosion from chemicals, salt air, or harsh cleaners

 - Scratches, dents, or impact damage after delivery

 - Labour/installation costs, removal costs, or re-installation costs

 - Commercial use, rental properties, or high-traffic use (unless agreed in writing)

4) Important Installation Requirements (To Keep Warranty Valid)

To protect your system and keep the warranty valid:

 - Installation must be done by a qualified plumber (recommended).

 - Use appropriate filters/strainers where required.

 - Flush lines before installing valves/cartridges.

 - Follow standard plumbing practices for pressure and temperature limits.

If the issue is related to installation or plumbing conditions, it won’t be covered.

5) Warranty Claims Process (How to Request Support)

To start a warranty claim, email us at [your support email] with:

  1. Order number
  2. Photos and a short video of the issue
  3. Description of the problem and when it started
  4. Installation date + plumber/company name (if available)
  5. Photos of the installation setup (under-sink/valve area)
  6. We may request additional information to diagnose properly. Once approved, we’ll provide next steps and shipping details for parts or replacement.

6) About Finishes (Unlacquered Brass / Patina)

Many BrassNova products use unlacquered brass or artisan-applied finishes designed to evolve naturally over time. Color variation, oxidation, darkening, fingerprints, and patina changes are normal and expected.

Therefore, the warranty does not cover:

 - Finish aging, tarnishing, or patina changes

 - Color variation between pieces

 - “Water spotting” or mineral marks caused by water conditions/cleaning

7) Returns Used for Long Periods / Misuse Protection

BrassNova fixtures are crafted for long-term use. Warranty service is intended for genuine defects—not for products that have been installed, used for an extended period, and then returned due to remodeling plans, preference changes, or general wear.

If inspection indicates the issue is from use, installation conditions, or wear rather than manufacturing defect, the claim may be denied.

8) Shipping & Timing for Warranty Parts

 - Replacement parts are usually shipped within 7–9 business days after approval (depending on stock and customization).

 - International delivery times vary and may be affected by customs.

9) Limitation of Liability

This limited warranty is the sole warranty provided by BrassNova. To the maximum extent allowed by law, BrassNova is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including labour costs, loss of use, delays, or property damage caused by installation or plumbing conditions.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of incidental damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
